This special I-pad app connects educators and families together by documenting and recording activities as they happen throughout the day. The educators can inform families on everything from nutritional information to fun moments and learning activities.

CATCH Coordinated Approach To Child Health

Niagara Region Children Services and Public Health Department are implementing the CATCH program which aims to modify a child’s food and activity environment in a child care setting by coordinating efforts across all aspects of the education experience; classroom, food services, and physical education.

Infant Mental Health

Lookout Ridge participates in a project that will evaluate if early development screening combined with an immediate developmentally supportive plan leads to improved developmental outcomes for young children.

We offer an afternoon snack and which follows  the Canada Food Guide. Our centre is peanut aware. Accommodations are made for other allergies when required and where possible.

Open in 2006 as a part of the Province’s Best Start School First Initiative, our playroom was designed and renovated to meet the needs of JK, SK and School Age children within an elementary school setting.

A hot nutritious meal and snacks prepared by our onsite cook, a Certified Food Handler, are provided following the Canada Food Guide and guidelines provided by the Public Health Department.
All menus are posted and copies are available for all families.

Our centre has observation booths that can be used for student observations or for the families that would like to see how their child is doing without the child knowing they are there.
